Kesshann Cortez

A producer with over 20 years of experience in integrated production.

Over the years I’ve had the good fortune to work on award winning campaigns for agencies such as 72 and Sunny, Saatchi & Saatchi, CP+B, Sapient Nitro, TBWA/Chiat/Day and have managed initiatives for Fortune 500 companies like Apple, Coca-Cola, Intel, Microsoft and Amazon. A believer in the importance of social awareness, intelligence and relevance, I strive to create a platform for connection and efficacy. I’m always inspired by the process and apply my experience to bring a unique perspective to all projects. I produce without limitations.

My expertise lies in spaces where traditional agencies and production companies collide. For the past decade, I've lead agencies in setting up and developing their own internal production companies, most recently in 2015 with Plus Productions under Crispin Porter + Bogusky in LA. Prior to that, I founded Paperboy Films, which was acquired by Trailer Park (Engine Group) in 2014 and rebranded to serve as their in-house production arm. I've also been behind projects like NBA2K16's campaign featuring Spike Lee and cover athletes (Harden, Curry & Davis) as well as the NBA2K17 Kobe Bryant tribute “Players vs Haters”. Most recently producing the Samsung 2018 Winter Olympics campaign featuring Chloe Kim, Gus Kenworthy and Ashley Wagner.
